[ARCHIVED] Now Recruiting Election Judges for the 2020 Elections!

Now Recruiting Election Judges for 2022

Two Election Dates for 2022:

  • Tuesday, August 9, 2022 – Minnesota Primary Election             
  • Tuesday, November 8, 2022 – General Election

Hourly Rates for Election Judge Types:

  • Election Judges: $11.00 
  • Absentee Ballot Judges is $12.00 
  • Head Election Judges is $13.00 
  • Assistant Head Judges is $12.00

On all Election Days, Elections judges arrive at 6:00 a.m. to set up the polling locations.  Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.  The day ends once the election results have been transmitted and the equipment has been taken down. 

All Election Judges for 2022 are required to take a mandatory 2-hour paid Election Judge Training prior to the Primary and General Elections.  Absentee Judges, Absentee Board members and Head Judges are required to take an additional 1 hour paid training course for their specific positions as well. This is required by state law and it is always a good refresher for those who have served in prior elections.
